Who else remembers watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade every year as a kid?! I know I do! Now that I’m a mom I love that I get to pass down the tradition to my own family. It’s the best way to kick off the holiday season and really puts us in the mood to begin celebrating!
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
The 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be held on November 23, 2023 in New York City and will be shown live at 8:30 am on NBC. This year there are 25 balloons, 31 floats,17 big names and music icons, 6 balloonicles, clown crews and marching bands. I love seeing what they come up with each year.
I kind of love making little simple moments special as a mom. What’s more fun than watching the parade? Have a fun viewing party complete with holiday pajamas and hot cocoa!

The kids can’t wait to snuggle up in the sweatshirt blanket with their Kalahari elephants, and sip a warm cup of cocoa (with lots of marshmallows of course)! We’re so excited to see the float from Kalahari!
