I have a pretty great surprise for you if you’re pregnant or a new mom! You can actually buy a decent amount of must have items for the fourth trimester using pre-tax dollars in your HSA or FSA account. I was so surprised to find out some of the staple items for a new baby and postpartum mom, plus some high tech splurges that qualify.
You can purchase these items from anywhere and submit your receipts to you FSA account. My favorite part of doing it though Amazon is how easy they make it. They tell you right on the item whether or not it qualifies. You can add your HSA or FSA Debit Card right to Amazon and purchase qualifying items with your Amazon account. You don’t have to deal with saving and uploading receipts and you get that convenient prime shipping.
