Hi there! I'm Meaghan, but everyone calls me Meg! I'm a teacher turned stay at home mama to the sweetest little girl.

I started this blog as a way to share motherhood, life, and all of the little in betweens. I love photography and capturing beauty in the messy, simple moments that go by in the blink of an eye.

A day at Letchworth State Park is full of so much hands-on learning

✨ Science – Observing erosion and the power of water shaping the gorge, identifying spring plants, and spotting wildlife

Can I tell you a a secret 🤫 I don’t meal plan

Can I tell you a a secret 🤫 I don’t meal plan or follow a lot of recipes BUT I cook almost all of our meals from scratch

Simplifying the kitchen hustle for me means rotating through simple ingredients that we always keep on hand.

✨ have a stocked pantry with potatoes, onions, garlic, rice, pasta, flour, etc

✨ pick a vegetable or two each week we like to focus on seasonal and always have a frozen option on hand

✨ always have some meat thawing from the freezer

✨ sheet pan meals, one pot meals, and crockpot meals are my favorite

✨ have one meal you have always pull out of your pocket in a pinch each season

✨ buy a rotisserie chicken every week process the meat for easy protein and make a bone broth

✨ when you do make a more complicated meal double it and freeze extra for a future win ❄️

Whipped Tallow Face Cream Recipe 👇🏻

1/2 cup beef tallow
1-2 tablespoons sweet almond oil (could sub olive oil)
A few drops of vitamin e
10-20 drops of essential oil

Melt beef tallow in a double boiler, cool, add almond oil, and essential oil. Whip until stiff peaks.
