Hi there! I'm Meaghan, but everyone calls me Meg! I'm a teacher turned stay at home mama to the sweetest little girl.

I started this blog as a way to share motherhood, life, and all of the little in betweens. I love photography and capturing beauty in the messy, simple moments that go by in the blink of an eye.

Homemade animal crackers 👇🏻

If you want to make more family friendly food from scratch stick around for easy homemade recipes your kids will love

Ingredients
* 1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
* ¼ cup granulated sugar
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1 large egg
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 cup whole wheat flour
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar, add honey, vanilla, and egg. Mix in dry ingredients. Use hands to finish and form into a dough. Form into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into shapes using animal cookie cutters. Place on parchment lined baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy 🫶

Sourdough Bread Recipe 🥖🌾

500 grams bread flour
325 grams water
100 grams active starter
8 grams

Mix ingredients in a bowl. Let rest for 30 minutes. Complete 3 sets of stretch and folds every 30 minutes. Cover and rest for a bulk ferment. 3-6 hours (maybe longer in the cold ours went overnight). Once doibled shape and place in a floured banneton, cover and place in frisge overnight.

Baking Day: preheat oven to 500 degrees with dutch oven inside. Place dough on parchment or bread sling, sprinkle with flour and score.

Bake 20 minutes at 500 with lid on.
Remove lid bake 15-20 minutes at 425 with lid off.

3 simple ingredients and under 10 minutes ⬇️

3 cups chocolate chips
1 (14 ounce can) of sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

🎄 Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and set aside

🎄 combine chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a glass bowl and microwave for 45 second intervals (stirring in between) until the mixture is smooth and creamy

🎄 add vanilla and any other mix ins

🎄 Spread evenly in your pan and refrigerate for 2 hours until set. Cut into squares

This fudge can be kept in the fridge for about two weeks or the freezer for two months and pulled out for guests! It also makes a great gift 🎁
