Being a mom is the greatest job I’ve ever had, but it’s also a job that comes with no days off. As moms we tend to put our own wants and needs on the back burner, but the truth is when we do this we get burnt out. It’s taken me a while to realize that I’m the best mom and wife when I’m careful to take at least a few minutes each day to do some sort of self care for my own well being. When I feel myself getting anxious, stressed out, or overwhelmed I try to take 15 minutes to reboot and it makes a world of difference. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so fill yours up with some hot coffee and pick one or two things off this list you can start doing for yourself today!
