Winter is one of the best times for reading. It’s cold, the days are short, and there’s nothing better than snuggling in a blanket and enjoying a good book. Once the Christmas books are put away, it’s time to pull out a new collection. I love moving to a collection of children’s books about winter.
My favorite themes for winter picture book are snow, winter wildlife, and winter activities. Winter books are the perfect way to experience and learn about the winter season, weather, animals and sports, especially if you live somewhere that you don’t experience the winter season.
